Meltdown Comics now has an exclusive 7-page preview on their blog.
The reviews have started coming in. There’s one from Comic Book Jesus:
I dare anyone to not read the next issue after reading this dynamic premiere.
And one from The Comics Reporter:
There’s an ease to the comic that’s commendable; it’s like a half-hour television show made by pros.
Last week The Pulse ran an interview with me about the book:
THE PULSE: What appealed to you the most about this mysterious tale?
MONROE: The reality-based approach to its supernature. There are definite big otherworldly events down at the core of the story, but they’re not what the story is about. The story is (like all good stories) about people. And it’s through their behaviors and decisions that we get a glimpse of some of the things going on behind the scenes.
When it comes to the supernatural, a glimpse is usually enough, because these things exist in bigger dimensions than we do. It’s what makes them “super” compared to our human natures. It’s like the way astronomers search for planets. They can’t really see them, so instead they look for their effects on the objects around them that we can see. Sometimes just seeing the effects is enough.
Today CBR put up a REMNANT video interview with Stephen Baldwin, originally conducted at SDCC.
This coming Wednesday I will be at the BOOM! Holiday Party at Meltdown:

(Free beer! And there just might be an advance copy or two of THE REMNANT there…)
And this past Wednesday I got to visit the BOOM! offices for the first time and pick up my comps. They look fantastic!

Speaking of BOOM!, I’m the Creator of the Month for December. You’ll find a mini interview with me in the back of all December BOOM! releases.
Still have yet to order your very own copies of THE REMNANT #1? Print out the order coupon and make it easy for yourself! Remember, the book will be on stands Christmas Eve. Perfect for stuffing stockings.
